Never had a woman said to me –
she didn’t have biological eyes.
Her words took me by surprise.

Despite the obvious reason
she didn’t have biological eyes,
I felt sad for the woman missing
normal eyes.

But she was fine without them
and could see in ways I could
not begin to understand.
For she was an AI woman and
I was a human man.
