Will we meet again when I expire?
Will our hearts be on fire?
You were exceptionally nice, but you left
me alone too much,
more interested in spending time with your
friends than with me.
Yet, when I left, you tried for years to get me back
despite not appreciating me when you had me.
My guess is in the afterlife there will be no fire
in our hearts
only unconditional love for each other and everyone.
