I see some sparrows pecking on the ground
beneath a sturdy oak tree.
Not unlike humans, they are working
for food.
And like fewer humans than most,
they are self employed.
At least they don’t have to worry
about going out of business
or losing their jobs and becoming
too poor to afford food.
